Terms of Service

By playing Voxel Hounds at voxhounds.io you agree to these terms. They're written to be read; please do.
1. Playing the game
Voxel Hounds is free to play. You may play as a guest or with an account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you and must approve any purchase.
2. Your account
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person per account; accounts may not be sold, traded or shared.
- Callsigns must not impersonate others, include hate speech, slurs or sexual content, or advertise anything. We may rename or remove a callsign that breaks these rules.
3. Conduct
Don't:
- cheat, including using modified clients, scripts, bots, macros or exploits, or deliberately abusing bugs;
- harass, threaten or abuse other players, or post hate speech, sexual content or personal information in chat or callsigns;
- manipulate ranked results, for example by teaming up with opponents, throwing matches or using multiple accounts;
- attack, overload or try to break into the game or its servers.
We may warn, mute, reset progress, suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, and remove ranked results gained unfairly.
4. Virtual items and credits
Credits, skins, supporter perks, callsign changes and other virtual items give you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use them in the game. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be sold or transferred between accounts. Credits earned by playing and credits bought in packs are the same currency. We may change, rebalance or retire virtual items and the in-game economy over time.
5. Purchases and memberships
- Prices are shown in US dollars; your bank may convert them, and applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; you need an account so purchases can be delivered to it.
- Supporter memberships renew monthly until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the perks until the end of the period you've paid for. If a renewal payment fails and can't be collected, the perks end.
- One-time purchases (premium skins, credit packs and callsign changes) are delivered to your account automatically once payment is confirmed.
- Refunds: if something you bought didn't arrive or doesn't work, contact us and we will fix it or refund you. Because digital items are delivered immediately, other purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered, except where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund. If a payment is refunded or charged back, we remove the item, or the credits, it paid for.
6. Donations
Donations through PayPal are voluntary gifts to support the game and don't purchase any item or service.
7. The service
We work to keep Voxel Hounds running and fair, but the game is provided "as is". It may change, be interrupted for updates or maintenance, or contain bugs. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.
8. Ending your account
You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we ever shut the game down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice in the game.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; for significant changes we'll tell signed-in players in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.
